Me in Garretstown Beach in Ireland April 2014

First of all: Thank you very much for reading my stories!

I really appreciate it and I love to give my experiences back to you.  Actually that is exactly what I do on my blog and I would like to inspire people with my stories.

So what is my blog TTCC about?

My journey started in January 2014 in Ireland. From there I went to Spain, Canada (where I became a Yoga teacher), Mexico, Guatemala and Spain again. Since than it became more and more a self-discovery and so are the posts on my blog. I write about my experiences, fears, facing my fears, my lessons, my downs and ups etc.  Meanwhile I'm giving seminars and tours in which I share my experiences and help people on their personal journey.

Most valuable is the exchange with different people and cultures

The most valuable part for me during my journey is the exchange with different people and cultures. I get lots of inspirations from them. Without the people around me my stories wouldn't exist and I wouldn't be able to learn. Also I realized that often distance helps us to come closer: Travel to come closer (TTCC).

Lots of love and hugs!

All posts about from June 2016 on to now

I visited my family and friends in Germany in February after 2 years of travelling. I was quite nervous to come back. How would it be? How will I feel there? It was actually great to be there and I could see in the familiar situations my own development. I felt much freer as I left.

My visit in Germany was a stopover before I would go to Mexico and do my first Travel to Come Closer Tour there. Everyone including me was thinking I would stay in Mexico and live there. But firstly it comes different and secondly as we think...

All posts about my comeback to Europe from May 2015 to Feb 2016

In May 2015 I came back to Europe to Spain. I needed a break, ground myself and be closer to my family. I had my dream and followed it but I had no clue which could be the steps in between... I was a bit in panic that I couldn't find work. Therefore I applied for everything where they were looking for people who are speaking German. Fortunately I found very quick something in Barcelona. I haven't been there before so it was an adventure.

In Barcelona I experienced what it means to have a culture shock and I closed myself in the beginning. Until I finally stood up and found a group of women who are helping other women to start their own projects. Therefore I started with my Yoga and meditation classes and my new project from my heart...

Tour de Mexico and Guatemala (green line). I think it was around 10.000 km in almost 6 month.

I started in Nov in San Jose del Cabo and started as Yoga teacher and celebrated Christmas, visited La Paz and took a ferry to Mazatlan where I tried out surfing. From there I went further South due to I wanted to learn Español and my friends told me if I want to get to know Mexico I need to go to Oaxaca.

And I really fell in love with Oaxaca! After though homesickness it could really great ground there and came back 3 times. After Oaxaca I went to San Miguel de Allende and from there to Mexico City to take a flight to Guatemala. In Guatemala in Xela I finally learnt Spanish and volunteered at El Nahual and gave Yoga classes to teens from poor families.

But I really missed Mexico and my family. Hence I went back to Mexico in April to San Cristobal and again to Oaxaca and took on the 08 of May a flight back to Europe to Spain...

My tour de Canada was about 7.500 km in 4 month, My bus tour from Toronto to Vancouver took 3 days... Well, Canada is quite different to Europe in every sense.

I first came to Toronto (A) but with the thoughts that I didn't really want to go. Actually I thought I wasn't ready after Spain. I feared it would be a step back in sense of "money thinking" and capitalism. I took a 3 days bus tour to Vanouver (B). British Columbia was nice. I went from there to Whistler (C) where I did workaway in a lodge and met a very funny guy from Switzerland and did a lot of outdoor activities. From there I was on my way to a winter resort but at my destinations in Kelowna (D) and Vernon (E) happened strange things.  I took myself back and did something what I considered since I arrived. Lots of people in Canada told me I should go to Nelson (H). So I signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training in Nelson! I went first back to Vancouver and could catch up with a friend of mine from Münster. I had such a great evening! Before the training started in October I did wwoofing in Nelson, learnt some lessons in an uncomfortable way and helped to keep Jumbo Wild (G). My Yoga Teacher Training will last until the end of Nov,

My tour de Espana - 2.480 km in 3 month. I just got leaded from one place to another. I loved it there!

After it I relaxed in Granada (B) before I helped a Belgium guy restoring his cave house in Orce (D) and had a great reunion with an old friend from Münster in Sevilla (E).  A gave me a lift to Cádiz (F) and loved it a lot before I took a blablacar to Malaga (G) and got my new tattoo there. Than I volunteered in a Buddhism Center in Alhaurin el Grande (H), enjoyed the beautiful street art in Valencia (I) and met very funny Spanish guys in Madrid (J) before I flew back to Dublin and took the flight to Canada...

My tour de Ireland. Around 1.700 km in 3 month. The longest bus drive was 4 hours... At that time I thought that was long...

I flew to Ireland on the 27 of January to Dublin (A), there I got literally a knock out in the night which wasn't that funny and showed me I should come down. I went to Belfast (B) for a day and did the first time CouchSurfing in Galway (C) at a very nice Pakistan guy. I met Martina in Gort (D) and got lots of inspiration from her that directed me to Buddhism and Louise Hay. I stopped in Tralee (E) and had a interesting chat with the Boss in Dingle (F). From there I enjoyed Cork (G) before I went to my first workaway job in Kinsale (H). There I met very interesting people who inspired me a lot before I went to New Ross (I) on a farm where I coincidentally met friends and left it with them earlier due to the conditions there. So I could catch up with my brother in Dublin, did a great Road trip to Killarney and Dingle way with friends before I went to a Buddhism Center in West Cork. This experience should change a lot in my life and I made some decisions. After it I helped a nice single mum in a very nice community in Garretstown Beach (J), before I attended a Louise Hay workshop in Kilrush, run into a friend in a hostel in Dublin and flew to Spain.
